Cannabis Plants Recovered In Annalong

The PSNI have recovered between 70 to 80 cannabis plants in Annalong, Co Down, on Sunday, 11 April.

The discovery follows the the search of a property in the Shore Road area.

Cultivation apparatus was also uncovered. 

PSNI Inspector Campbell said: "We are committed to tackling the illegal supply and use of drugs, and will continue to investigate those who profit from the consequent misery and harm.

"Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and I would ask any member of the public who has any information which could be of assistance to police to contact the Police on non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1073 of 11/04/21.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

The PSNI Chief Constable has said that he is committed to working with the family of Sean Browne and others impacted by the disclosure limitations of the coronial process. Chief Constable, Jon Boutcher, made the commitment as he acknowledged the comments of the Coroner on the murder of GAA Official, Sean Browne, in 1997.

Man And Woman 'Critical' Following Crash In Newtownards
Police are appealing for witnesses following a three-vehicle collision on the carriageway between Bangor and Newtownards on Thursday. The crash happened at around 7.40pm close to the junction of Green Road. A man and woman are in a critical condition in hospital' The road was closed in both directions however it has now been reopened.

Appeal Following Serious Collision In Gilford
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Banbridge Road, Gilford on Saturday 9th March. Just after 10.50pm, it was reported that two vehicles had collided on the road between Lawrencetown and Gilford.
