Child Rescue Alert Issued After Teen Goes Missing From Louth
Police have issued a child rescue alert for a 14-year-old girl who went missing three days ago from County Louth.
Garda issued the alert following concerns there is an "immediate and serious risk to the health or welfare" of Svetlana Murphy.
The teenager left her house on the Coast Road in Blackrock at around 4pm on Monday with 18-year-old Nojus Maculevicius.
The pair, who are travelling in a silver Hyundai Veloster car with registration number 132-D-13518, were seen in Newry, Co Down, about 7pm that evening. The vehicle is also believed to have been in Belast just after 5.30pm on Wednesday.
Svetlana is described as 5 foot 1 inch in height with a slim build, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
At the time she went missing, she was wearing navy tracksuit bottoms with a red and white stripe on the leg, a black zipped top and black runners.
Nojus Maculevicius is described as being 6 foot in height with a slim build, and has dark brown hair and is clean shaven.
He was wearing dark grey Snickers work trousers and a black Snickers top. He may also have been wearing a khaki green hoody, and either black boots or Adidas runners.
Garda are urging the public not to approach the pair and instead contact 999 or 112.

They were told they needed to send online gift cards to verify themselves. This continued for some time before the scam was spotted and stopped.

Over 660 Motorists Found Speeding Over Easter Bank Holidays
More than 660 motorists were caught breaking the speed limit across the Causeway Coast and Glens during the Easter bank holiday weekend – an increase of 22% from 2022. Chief Inspector Sinead McIldowney said: "The Safety Camera Vans were deployed at various locations across the North Coast and the increase in these detections is a worrying trend.

Appeal Issued After Spate Of Robberies In Coleraine
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a number of report of thefts in the Coleraine area. Police received a report that overnight on Friday, 24 February, someone had gained to a property in the Knockaduff Road area, taking away a scrambler motorbike and helmets.
