Teenager Suffers Burns At Eleventh Night Bonfire
A teenage boy has been hospitalised after suffering burns at an Eleventh Night bonfire in north Belfast.
The incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning, 12 July, at around 12.30am in the Silverstream Crescent Area.
He sustained burns to his face and body and remains in hospital at this time.
Police have also become aware of social media footage circulating of the incident and urged people not to share the video.
Superintendent Henry added: "Our enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. We are aware that there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident, so we would appeal to them to come forward to assist with our enquiries. We would ask that anyone with any information in relation to the incident, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 76 12/07/21. People Urged To 'Celebrate Their Toilets'
People across Northern Ireland have been urged to "celebrate their toilets" on 'Thomas Crapper Day'(TCD), Saturday, 27 January. TCD is a celebration of the man who helped make the humble toilet a feature in every household and pioneered the ballcock within the toilet cistern that is still a feature today.
