Man Critical Following Assault In Portadown
A man, aged in his 50's, is in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked in Portadown.
A large fight occurred in the Thomas Street area at around 1.40am on Saturday.
The victim was punched in the face and a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Detective Sergeant Wilson said: "Shortly before 1:40am, it was reported there was a large altercation involving a number of people fighting in the area.
"It was reported that a man in his 50s was punched in the face by a man, which caused the male to fall on the ground. He was taken to hospital for his injuries, and his condition is described as critical.
"A 39 year old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody at this time.
"Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and witnessed the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 169 21/08/21."

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
