Cannabis Factory Uncovered In South Armagh

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the discovery of a cannabis factory in south Armagh.

The factory was uncovered at a property in the Seafin Road area of Killeavy. During the search, police seized cannabis with an estimated street value of £36,000. 'Criminal assets' valued at more than £20,000 were also seized during the operation.

Two men, aged 39 and 45, have been arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences.

Police have said that their investigation is ongoing and appealed to anyone with any information about the operation, or anyone who has any suspicions about other operations, to contact them.

Man charged after discovery of suspected 'cannabis factory'
A 26-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the discovery of a suspected “cannabis factory” in County Tyrone, has been remanded in police custody. The man was charged with possession, cultivation, and possession with intent to supply a Class C drug. He will appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
