• Damage to trees and buildings is possible

• Power cuts may occur

• Large waves may cause beach material to be thrown onto sea fronts and coastal roads

This is to be followed by Storm Eunice on Friday.

The Met Office said that the situation was ongoing and continuing to develop and forecasts would be updated accordingly.
