Elderly Woman In Critical Condition After Falling From Moving Vehicle

The PSNI in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information after an elderly woman reportedly fell from a moving vehicle.

According to reports, the woman, aged in her 70s, was loading shopping into a vehicle in the car park of Eurospar in Glenabbey Close when the vehicle moved unexpectedly. It is understood that the woman fell from the vehicle, which went on to collide with another vehicle.

The woman is understood to be in a critical condition in hospital.

Police have said that they working to establish the exact circumstances of the incident. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, in particular any other drivers who may have dashcam footage, is asked to contact police.

Victor Hamilton: Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Ballymena. Victor Hamilton, 63, was found dead in the driveway of his house on Orkney Drive at around 7.50am on Wednesday.
