Okto Technologies To Create 80 New Jobs
Okto Technologies has announced it will create 80 new jobs after the Lisburn-based smart buildings tech developer secured new contracts worth £25m.
The NI firm currently employs some 100 people in NI, Dublin and London.
It is understood they have secured new contracts in the high-end residential and hospitality sectors.
The new roles will include software developers, design engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors and solution architects.

'Deeply Concerning' DoH Has Ended Nexus NI Contract – SF
Sinn Féin has said that it is "deeply concerning" that the Department of Health has ended the contract of Nexus NI for specialist counselling services. Linda Dillon MLA said: "I am deeply concerned that the Department of Health has ended the contract of Nexus NI for specialist counselling services for victims of sexual abuse and violence.

Power NI Announces New 6.3% Price Decrease
Power NI has announced a new 6.3% decrease in its residential unit price, following a fall in wholesale market costs. This is the fourth consecutive decrease for the supplier and will take effect from 1 April 2024, meaning that customers on average will make further savings of £64 per year.

Economy Minister, Conor Murphy, has welcomed a recorded increase in the number of visitors to NI from the Republic of Ireland. The latest visitor statistics from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), show a very strong performance on trips, nights and spend by Republic of Ireland residents in Northern Ireland in the first nine months of 2023.
