Man Injured After Being Attacked In Newtownards
A man has been attacked by six men armed with knives and hammers in Newtownards.
The incident occurred in the Upper Movilla Street area on Sunday.
Detective Sergeant Cargin said: "At approximately 2.20pm we received a report that a man had been assaulted outside a property by approximately six men armed with knives and hammers.
"The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the assault or to anyone who may have footage that could assist with our enquiries, is asked to get in touch on 101 quoting reference 2248 of 28/08/22."

Investigation Launched After Man Assaulted In East Belfast
An investigation has been launched after a man was assaulted in east Belfast. The attack happened in the Dundonald area at around 9.30am on Wednesday, 16 May. The victim, aged in his 50s, is currently receiving hospital treatment after sustaining a head injury and wounds to his abdomen. His condition is not known.

The occupant of a house in the Hillman Street area of north Belfast has been assaulted in a robbery by a gang of men. Detectives in Antrim Road are appealing for information following the aggravated burglary. At approximately 09:15 the house was forcibly entered by four masked men.
