Police Investigating Attempted Murder Of Officers Search Properties

Detectives from the Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane on Thursday November 17th, have conducted a search at a property in the Innisfree Gardens area of Strabane.

A number of items were seized and taken away for further forensic examination.

The attempted murder investigation continues and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 101.

Man Arrested In Bangor Shooting Investigation
A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the attempted murder of two men in Bangor. The male victims, aged 24 and 33, were shot as they sat in a car in the Eastway area of the Whitehill estate at about 00:45 on 10 February. UTV has reported that the UVF are thought to have been behind the attack.

Police Appeal for Information Following Attempted Murder Arrests
A 27-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police, has been released on bail to permit further police investigations to take place. Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man remains held in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated vehicle taking causing injury.

Police Renew Appeal For Information On Attempted Murder
Detectives from the Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have appealed for information following the attempted murder of a 41-year-old man in west Belfast in November, 2015. The man was shot in the head as he sat in a car with his partner in Rossnareen Avenue at 8.30am on Thursday, 19 November.
