Appeal For Information On Armed Robbery In Newry

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of an armed robbery at commercial premises at the Patrick Street area of Newry on Tuesday 3rd January.

Detective Sergeant Johnston said: "At around 8am, it was reported that a man entered a shop in the area. He produced a knife and threatened a female member of staff. He made off with a sum of money on foot towards the Monaghan Street area following the incident.

"The man is described as being 5"4 in height and wearing a grey hooded top with a scarf covering his face.

"Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 223 03/01/23. Appeal For Information On Assault In Ballygowan
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of an assault in the Square area of Ballygowan. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Westbury said: "It was reported that an 18-year-old man was assaulted outside a licenced premises at around 1am this morning, Sunday 8th January.

BCC Welcomes Conviction Of Belfast Man For Dog Attack
Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.

Appeal For Information On East Belfast Robbery
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following the report of a burglary in the Susan Street area of east Belfast. It has been reported that sometime between 8pm on Monday (23rd May) and 10am on Tuesday (24th May) entry had been forced in to the home via a rear window while the occupants were out.
