Newtownabbey Man Dies Following Assault
A man who was assaulted in Newtownabbey on Sunday has died from his injuries, police have confirmed.
Colin Crawley, aged 40, passed away in hospital on Wednesday. He sustained serious head injuries.
He had been taken to hospital after being found unconscious in the Shore Road area of Whiteabbey shortly after 1.15am on Sunday.
Two men aged 28 and 34 arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and a 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders and withholding information, have all been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Wilson said: "Our investigation continues, and I am appealing to anyone with information, or who witnessed anything untoward, to please get in touch. Likewise, if you have captured dash cam footage, please contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 123 of 12/02/23."

Four Charged In Connection With Blake Newland Murder
Four people are due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Blake Newland. The Limavady teenager died after being found with serious stab wounds at a house in the town on Friday, 02 February. Detectives investigating the murder, have now charged two men, aged 27 and 29, with murder.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
