Man Arrested In Lancashire In Connection With NI Investigation
A 51-year-old man arrested in Lancashire has been brought to Northern Ireland to be questioned by detectives investigating a number of non-recent sexual offences against a child, including rape.
The man was arrested in Lancaster on Tuesday, 14th March by Lancashire Police and conveyed to Northern Ireland.
The arrest relates to allegations of grooming, sexual assault, rape and possessing indecent images of children in Co Antrim from 2009 to 2012. He remains in custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Judith Hamill, from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Public Protection Branch said: "As a Police Service, safeguarding children and locating potential offenders of these crimes remains a top priority. Those who seek to harm children in this way in Northern Ireland should be fearful of the consequence of their actions."
Anyone concerned that a child may be being groomed or at risk of sexual exploitation or abuse, please contact police on 101, or in an emergency always dial 999.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

A man arrested following an assault in Lisburn has been released on bail pending further enquiries, according to the PSNI. The 21-year-old was arrested following an incident in the Rathvarna Drive and Beechwood Grove area at around 1.30am on Tuesday, 12 July.
