Man Arrested In East Belfast Search Operation
A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested by detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force, as part of an investigation into suspected criminality linked to the East Belfast UVF.
The arrested followed a search operation in the Templemore Avenue area of East Belfast today, Thursday, 26 October.
During the search a quantity of cash and suspected class A and class B controlled drugs were seized.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A and B controlled drugs, offering to supply class A and Class B controlled drugs and possessing criminal property. He remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Maguire said: "We will continue to work with communities and partners to disrupt those involved in criminal activity, and I would appeal to anyone with information or concerns about illegal activity, or anyone with any information that can assist our investigations, to call police on 101, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Police officers investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision in west Belfast have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage On 10 January officers received a report of a collision involving a car and motorcycle at approximately 5.30pm at the junction of Divis Street and Westlink on-slip, in the city-bound lanes.
