PSNI Investigate Aggravated Burglary In Newry

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the report of an aggravated burglary at a property on the Belfast Road in Newry in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 27th January.

At approximately 1.50am, it was reported that approximately 3 or 4 masked and armed men, one believed to be carrying a shotgun, entered the house and threatened the residents.

The men ransacked the house before making off with a quantity of cash in the direction of the A1.

The residents were uninjured however damage was caused to a window and items of furniture.

Detective Sergeant Lewis said: "Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have any information or CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 143 27/01/24.”

PSNI Investigate Aggravated Burglary In Newtownards
PSNI detectives are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in Newtownards yesterday evening, Tuesday 29 August. At approximately 10.35pm a report was received that four masked men, one armed with a knife had gained access to a house in Millers Park Drive.
