Man attacked during attempted hijacking
Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted hijacking in south Belfast on Tuesday.
A 20-year-old male driver had stopped at traffic lights on the Dunmurry Lane at Kingsway when two men got out of a nearby red car during rush hour traffic.
The proceeded to punch the man on the face before trying to steal his car keys.
The victim was able to drive off, however the assailants made their way back to their vehicle before following the driver for some distance.
The man suffered cuts and bruises during the incident and is said to be in extreme shock.

Police Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Fermanagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Dundrum, Co Down. A 49-year-old man died at the scene of a three-car collision on the Belfast Road at about 12:20am on Thursday. It is understood that four other people are being treated in hospital following the collision.

Man Arrested After Shots Fired In North Belfast
Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting incident in north Belfast. It is understood that the 22-year-old man was arrested following reports of shots being fired on Oceanic Avenue at about 21:50 on Thursday. Police say that a parked car was damaged in the incident.
