Man Arrested In Connection With Bangor Drug Seizure
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and a large quantity of suspected Class A, B and C drugs seized during the search of a property in Bangor, Co Down, on the morning of Saturday, 06 July.
An organised search of a house was carried out by officers shortly before 10am in the Beatrice Avenue area of the city.
As a result of the search, a quantity of suspected Class A drugs were seized along with a sum of cash, suspected Class B and C drugs, drugs-related paraphernalia, and a round of ammunition.
The items were removed for further forensic examination as enquiries remain ongoing. Inspector Hart said: "A 34-year-old man was arrested at the property on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class A controlled drug, and a number of other related offences.
"He remains in custody at this time as the investigation continues. Drug supply and misuse is a vicious cycle that we need to collectively break, and we all have a part to play.
"I would encourage anyone with information about the supply or use of illegal drugs to contact police on 101."

Following the PSNI Organised Crime Unit operation, Detective Sergeant Brian O'Neill said: "The man, aged in his forties, was arrested at Belfast International Airport following a proactive policing operation.
