NICS Launches Administrative Officers Recruitment Campaign
A new recruitment campaign has been launched by the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS), with some 500 Administrative Officers roles available across all government departments.
With a starting salary of £24,225 per annum and an attractive annual leave and pension package, these positions offer a great opportunity to begin a career in the NICS. Whether serving customers or supporting teams delivering services or projects across the NICS, Administrative Officers play a vital role in an organisation that touches the lives of people here every day.

Summer Road Safety Campaign Launches
All road users in Northern Ireland has been urged to take care on the roads over the holiday period to "make sure they and their loved ones get home safe". Making the call, Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd said: "Tragically, so far this year 34 people have set out on a routine journey and have lost their lives.

Health Minister Mike Nesbitt has informed Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) that changes to hospital services in Northern Ireland are an "ongoing reality." Ahead of the release of 'Hospitals – Creating a Network for Better Outcomes' today, 01 October, Mr. Nesbitt sent a letter to MLAs outlining the framework for reconfiguring services.
