Body of man found on outskirts of Belfast
The body of a man has been found at a flat in the outskirts of Belfast, it has emerged today.
The discovery of the 47-year-old's body was made at the flat in the Rathcoole estate, Newtownabbey, shortly after 9pm on Thursday.
The police and ambulance service were immediately called to the scene, however it is not yet known how the man died.
A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out today and police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Three men were sentenced for offences linked to a drugs and money laundering operation in the Ballymena area yesterday, 31 January. At Antrim Crown Court, Troy Carley (27), Neil Lowry (30) and Marc Mitchell (32) were sentenced for a number of offences.

Body Discovered At Flat In Magherafelt
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the discovery of a man's body in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry. Police have launched a murder investigation after the body was found in a downstairs flat on Sandy Braes at around 12:30 on Monday. It is understood that a man was arrested on suspicion of murder near the scene a short time later.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.
