Arson Attack Under Investigation In North Belfast

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a petrol bomb attack on a property in the Forthriver Road area of north Belfast this morning.

Police received a report at around 3.00am today, Friday, 25 July, that a petrol bomb had been thrown through the living room window of a property, causing damage inside. Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, who made the area safe.

Detective Sergeant McCallum confirmed that one person was present in the property at the time of the attack, but fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported.

DS McCallum stated: "We are treating this attack as arson with intent to endanger life." Enquiries are ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist with their investigation, particularly those with CCTV, dashcam, or other relevant footage.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In North Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a fire at a property in north Belfast on the evening of Tuesday 2nd July. At approximately 10.10pm police received a report that four masked men had broken a window and thrown a petrol bomb inside a flat in the Cliftonpark Avenue area.

Arson Attack Destroys Donaghadee Observation Platform
Police are appealing for information following an arson attack that destroyed a wooden observation platform in Donaghadee. A report was received on Monday, 13 October that the platform, located within Crommelin Wood, had been extensively damaged by fire.
