Arson Attack Destroys Donaghadee Observation Platform

Police are appealing for information following an arson attack that destroyed a wooden observation platform in Donaghadee.

A report was received on Monday, 13 October that the platform, located within Crommelin Wood, had been extensively damaged by fire.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze on Sunday evening at approximately 8pm.

The incident is being treated as arson, and enquiries are ongoing. The damage caused to the structure means it is now unusable and will require a significant amount of money to replace.

The PSNI is keen to review any CCTV or mobile footage of what happened. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 631 13/10/25.

Appeal For Information On Holylands Arson
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fire at an unoccupied house in the Holylands. Emergency services responded to a fire at a house in Carmel Street, in the Holylands area, at about 9.30pm on Tuesday, 12 October. Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control before it spread to any other properties.

PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of arson at the Dunraven Court area of east Belfast on Monday 26th August. Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Shortly after 3:35am, it was reported that a white Mercedes CLA and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan were set alight.

PSNI Issue Appeal On Ballygowan Arson Attack
Detectives are appealing for information after three cars were destroyed in an arson attack in The Brae area of Ballygowan on Sunday evening, January 26th. Police received a report from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service shortly before midnight that the vehicles had been engulfed in flames.

PSNI Investigating Arson Of Greenisland Church
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fire at a church and church hall in Greenisland last night, Sunday 1st September. At approximately 9.10pm, police received a report of a fire at the property on the Station Road. Police and the Northern Ireland Fire Service attended and the blaze was extinguished.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
