PSNI Warns Of Traffic Disruption Due To Newry Parade
The PSNI has issued a warning to road users about anticipated traffic disruption in Newry tomorrow, Saturday, 11 October 2025, due to a planned parade.
The parade is scheduled to assemble at 12pm on Clanrye Avenue. The route will then proceed onto Monaghan Street and Needham Bridge, continuing towards Margaret Square and Hill Street, before concluding at Marcus Square at approximately 1.15pm. The PSNI confirmed it will have an "appropriate and proportionate" policing response in place for the event. While no formal road closures will be implemented along the route, a significant number of participants are expected, meaning traffic delays are likely.
Road users who are not planning to attend the event are strongly advised to seek an alternative route for their journey to avoid unnecessary delays during the middle of the day.
