Heritage Theatre Reopens At Coca-Cola Lisburn Facility

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland have officially reopened the newly refurbished Robinson Theatre at its Lisburn production facility's Visitor Experience.

The theatre is a tribute to the family who brought Coca-Cola to Northern Ireland, having been named in honour of Tom Robinson, who secured the franchise in 1939, and his son, Terence. Relatives, including Terence's daughter Bobi, joined the official ceremony.

Alderman Amanda Grehan, Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, attended the opening and commended the company, stating that it "continues to demonstrate great confidence in Lisburn and Castlereagh through significant investment, the provision of over 550 local jobs, and strong engagement with schools and community groups." She added that the enhanced Visitor Experience will "further inspire young people and promote local tourism."

He added that the latest improvements to the theatre will "enhance our Visitor Experience for the many schools, community groups, university students and local charities who visit us each day."

The Visitor Experience, which is open to groups over the age of 13, offers an exclusive opportunity to explore the manufacturing process, history, and marketing of the world-famous drinks. Since its re-opening in 2024, the experience has welcomed almost 2,000 guests.
