Visit Belfast Sweeps Digital Awards With Four Wins

Visit Belfast, the city's official destination marketing organisation, has announced an impressive series of wins at both the NI Social Media Awards and the SimpleView EMEA Awards, underscoring its commitment to excellence in digital marketing and social media engagement.

At the NI Social Media Awards, Visit Belfast's Digital Marketing Team secured four prestigious accolades:

• Best Use of TikTok

• Best Campaign

• In-House Team of the Year

• Judges' Choice for Overall Social Media Excellence

The judges praised the organisation's "consistently excellent" social media presence, noting that the content is effectively tied to measurable outcomes. The team's achievements were further bolstered by Mairead Graham being named runner-up for Digital Marketer of the Year.

Earlier this month, Visit Belfast also secured two major wins at the SimpleView EMEA Awards, taking home Best Influencer and Content Strategy, with team member Deyna Wilson winning Digital Marketer of the Year.

Gerry Lennon, CEO of Visit Belfast, said the successes highlighted the "incredible talent and dedication" of the team. "We are committed to showcasing Belfast as a must-visit destination, and these recognitions reinforce our belief in the power of collaboration and creativity within the tourism sector," he commented.

Gavin McKenna, Head of Marketing, Digital, and Communications at Visit Belfast, added that the awards affirm the team is on the right path to deliver "engaging and impactful campaigns that resonate with our audiences."

As the city's destination marketing organisation, Visit Belfast supports over 500 tourism and hospitality partners, playing a vital role in enhancing the city's profile both nationally and internationally.
