PSNI Warns Of Traffic Disruption Due To Parades This Saturday
Road users in Belfast are advised of potential traffic disruption in the city centre and surrounding areas this Saturday, 8th November, owing to several scheduled parades.
The disruptions are expected to occur between approximately 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.
Police officers will be present across the affected routes to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety. The PSNI encourages motorists to seek alternative routes where possible to avoid potential delays during these times.
Affected Areas and Routes: South Belfast (Approx. 9:30 am): Parades are scheduled along the Ormeau Road towards Annadale Embankment.
East Belfast (Approx. 10:30 am): Parades will proceed along various roads including My Lady’s Road, Willowfield Street, Castlereagh Road, Beersbridge Road, Woodstock Road, Cherryville Street, and Pottinger Street.
City Centre/West Belfast (Approx. 10:30 am): Routes will cover Donegall Pass, Shaftesbury Square, Wellington Place, Donegall Square North, Donegall Place, Royal Avenue, Donegall Street, Clifton Street, and the Shankill Road.
All scheduled parades are expected to conclude by approximately 12:30 pm.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali

Serious Road Traffic Collision In L'Derry
A road in L'Derry has been closed following a serious road traffic collision. It is understood that emergency services are at the scene on Tyrconnell Street. Motorists are advised to avoid the area, while investigations are being carried out. There is no information on when the road might re-open.

Man Arrested Following Drug Seizure In Kilkeel
A 46-year-old man has been arrested after police seized cocaine and cannabis worth an estimated street value of £860,000 in Co Down. The drugs were found following a search of a property in the Carrigenagh Road area of Kilkeel on Thursday, 10 April.
