Three Die and Four Injured in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Moy
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed that three people have lost their lives following a serious road traffic collision in the Armagh Road area of Moy.
The incident, which involved three vehicles, occurred on the evening of Saturday 21 February.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision at approximately 10:20pm. The crash involved a red BMW, a grey Volkswagen, and a white Audi. Despite the efforts of first responders, two men, aged 31 and 48, and a 23-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other individuals sustained injuries during the incident. Three of those victims are currently receiving medical treatment in hospital. Assistant Chief Constable Davy Beck said: "At around 10.20pm, Police received a report of a three-vehicle collision involving a red BMW, a grey Volkswagen and a white Audi. Officers attended, along with colleagues from other emergency services, however, two men, aged 31 and 48, and a woman, aged 23, were sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Four other people sustained injuries, three of whom are receiving medical treatment."
The Armagh Road remains closed as investigators continue their work at the site. The PSNI has launched an appeal for information and is urging anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
Assistant Chief Constable Beck added: "Enquires are continuing and anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage or any other information, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1654 – 21/02/26."
