Man charged following drug seizures in Mid Ulster
A 32-year-old man is due to appear before Omagh Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, 14th April, following a police operation in Mid Ulster.
The man has been charged with a series of offences, including the possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs, possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs with intent to supply, and the possession of counterfeit currency. The charges relate to a number of drug seizures carried out by police in the Moneymore and Cookstown areas on Monday, 13th April.
As is standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A 32-year-old woman, who was also arrested in connection with the investigation, has been released on bail pending further police enquiries. She had been detained on suspicion of several offences, including the possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs, possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs with intent to supply, and the possession of criminal property.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.
