Arrest Made Following Attack on Dunmurry Police Station
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Terrorism Investigation Unit have arrested a 66-year-old man in connection with the attack on Dunmurry Police Station last weekend.
The arrest took place in the Dunmurry area this morning, Tuesday 28 April, following a series of searches. The individual was detained under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to the Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
In addition to the arrest, police confirmed that several searches remain ongoing across both West and East Belfast as part of the wider investigation. The PSNI has renewed its appeal for information regarding the incident. A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland stated: "Please be assured that we will continue, tirelessly, with our efforts to bring those responsible to justice and to protect our local communities.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1682 of 25/04/26. I'm also keen to stress that the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted with 100% anonymity."
Members of the public can provide information anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Teenager Arrested After Two Police Officers Injured In Belfast
A 16-year-old girl has been arrested after two police officers were injured as trouble flared in Belfast overnight. Petrol bombs and masonry were thrown at the officers in the Woodvale Road area at around 12.50am on Wednesday. No petrol bombs made contact, however two police officers were injured after bottles were thrown at them.

Man Kidnapped And Assaulted In Dunmurry
A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping in Dunmurry on Saturday, 14 January. It was reported just after 12pm that a man was forced into the back of a blue Citroen Berlingo van by two men in the Upper Dunmurry Lane area before it was driven away from the Michael Ferguson roundabout.
