Two People Die In Single-Vehicle Collision In Glenariffe
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed two people died following a single-vehicle collision in the Glenariffe area of Ballymena on Saturday, 18 July.
Detective Inspector Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Police received a report shortly before 9.10pm of a collision involving a silver Ford Transit Custom van in the Glenariffe Road area.
"Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended.
"The occupants of the van, a 41-year-old man, and 31-year-old woman, were both sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. "No other injuries were reported. The Glenariffe Road, which was closed for a time, has since fully reopened.
"Our enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with our investigation, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1423 18/07/26."

An investigation has launched following a fatal collision near Ballymoney. According to reports, a man aged in his 70s and a woman aged in her 40s were killed when a car and a construction vehicle collided on the Benvardin Road at about 4pm on Monday 16 November. It is understood that the two victims were the driver and a rear passenger in the car.

A man has been injured in a two-car collision in east Belfast. The crash happened on the Upper Newtownards Road just before 10.30am on Tuesday, 23 May. The man has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The road has been re-opened.
