Detectives Probe Aggravated Burglary In Limavady
Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Limavady reported in the early hours of Friday, 31 July, and are seeking witnesses to assist their enquiries.
Detective Inspector Ballentine said: "Shortly after three am, it was reported that a man gained entry to a house in the Greystone Road area and demanded that the male occupant hand over his wallet.
"It was reported that he then kicked the occupant and struck his leg with a metal pole, before grabbing his car keys and wallet and making off from the property.
"The suspect was described as being tall and of a heavy build, with his face covered, and dressed in a green coat.
"The occupant sustained a leg injury as a result of the incident."
Detective Inspector Ballentine continued: "Our enquiries are ongoing this morning, and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who has any information which might help us, to contact detectives using our witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting 147 of 31/07/26 or call us on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org/."

Investigation Launched After Shot Fired At House In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation after shot was fired at a house in Elon Dara, L'Derry, in the early hours of Tuesday, 21 June. Detectives received a report at 12.20am that around 15 to 20 minutes earlier it is believed a hot had been fired causing damage to the front door of the house.

Man Assaulted With Bats During Newry Burglary
A man has been taken to hospital after an assault during an aggravated burglary in Newry on Sunday evening. Two intruders entered a flat in the Mourne View Park area shortly before 7.30pm and assaulted the male occupant with baseball bats, police have said. A 33 year-old man has been arrested and the victim taken to hospital for treatment.

Staff Threatened With Knife In West Belfast Robbery
A man armed with a knife has threatened staff and demanded money during an attempted robbery in west Belfast last night, Tuesday 11 September. The suspect entered the commercial premises on the Springfield Road at 10.10pm. One of two staff members who intervened sustained a cut to a knuckle. The suspect left the premises empty handed shortly after.
