SF Urges Dissident Groups To 'Leave The Stage'
Sinn Féin's Pat Sheehan MLA has denounced a statement from a dissident organisation styling itself ÓNH, which claimed it planned to kill a loyalist in West Belfast, insisting such threats are intolerable and that those involved should step away.
Pat Sheehan MLA said, "The claim, by the dissident group, calling itself ÓNH, that they planned to kill a loyalist in West Belfast may or may not be true.
"However, any threats to kill are totally unacceptable. These groups have no support and even less to offer.
"They need to leave the stage immediately."

Givan Hails Northern Ireland Pupils For Strong GCSE Results
Education Minister Paul Givan has congratulated students across Northern Ireland after this year's GCSE outcomes were released. In total, over 32,000 young people received results, with 83.6% achieving grade C/4 and above (compared with 83.5% in 2025) and 31.7% attaining grade A/7 and higher (31.6% in 2025).

The work will focus on enhancing the user experience as well as improving safety and accessibility for passengers using both services.

Man Dies In L'Derry Flat Fire
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed that a man in his sixties has died after a fire at a flat in the Galliagh area of L'Derry. The blaze in Bloomfield Park was reported at 3.42pm on Wednesday 19 August, and all three emergency services attended the scene. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
