25-Year-Old Man Charged Over Alleged Online Offences In Mid Ulster

Detectives from Cookstown CID have charged a 25-year-old man in connection with alleged online offences.

The suspect was arrested at Magherafelt PSNI station on Sunday 4 October and has been charged with blackmail and with threatening to disclose private sexual images. He is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Monday 5 October.

As is standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
