Phorest To Create 25 Remote Tech Roles In NI
Irish software platform company Phorest is to establish a fully remote products, engineering and operations team in Northern Ireland, creating 25 jobs over the next three years.
Headquartered in Dublin, Phorest provides an all-in-one system for premium hair and beauty salons, spas and aesthetic clinics, combining appointment and diary management, online booking, marketing and integrated payments in one connected platform. The company currently employs 450 people worldwide.
Anne Beggs, Chief Commercial Officer, Invest NI, said: "Phorest's decision to establish a team here further strengthens our reputation as a leading location for software and digital services." Meeting the company at Invest Northern Ireland's Southern Regional office in Newry, Anne Beggs, Chief Commercial Officer at Invest NI welcomed the announcement: "We are delighted that Phorest has chosen Northern Ireland as the location for its new team. This success reflects the strong partnership built over several years between Phorest and Invest NI, led initially by our team in Dublin who first engaged with the company in 2018 and continued to champion Northern Ireland as an attractive place to invest and grow.
"Phorest's decision to establish a team here further strengthens our reputation as a leading location for software and digital services. It also enhances the visibility of our growing services cluster and demonstrates the confidence international companies have in the skills, talent and business support available here.
"The 25 new roles will offer high-quality career opportunities. As the positions are fully remote, they will be accessible to talented people right across Northern Ireland, helping to create opportunities across the region."
Invest NI has offered the company £162,500 in financial support to secure the investment for Northern Ireland over alternative locations including Croatia, Portugal, North America and Estonia.
