South African man charged over road collision
A South African man has been charged following a road collision last week in which a Co Fermanagh father and daughter were killed.
John Gillece, 60, from Kinawley, and his daughter Fiona Ronaghan, 33, from Teeboy died in the crash in Co Cavan in the Irish Republic on Thursday, November 4.
Their four-wheel-drive vehicle was in collision with a lorry between Belturbet and Cavan at around 7.30pm. Another woman in the vehicle was seriously injured and was taken to Cavan General Hospital while the driver of the lorry was also taken to hospital, although his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Sheraaj Kraner, 31, from Marian Park in Drogheda, appeared at Cavan District Court on Sunday, accused of dangerous driving in connection with the incident.
He was granted bail and is due to appear before Belturbet District Court on 8 December.

25-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Bobbie McKee
A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Bobbie McKee in Kilkeel. Mr McKee (69) died shortly after being found seriously injured at his home in the Newcastle Road area on Thursday 21 March. The man has also been charged with the attempted murder of Mr McKee's wife, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
