Man shot in paramilitary-style attack
A 22-year-old man has been shot in a paramilitary-style attack in East Belfast on Thursday.
The man was walking along Coburg Street at around 9.30pm when he was confronted by six masked men who tied him up and shot him in the hands and thighs. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Anyone who has any information or who was in the area at the time of the shooting is asked to contact Detectives at Strandtown on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Elsewhere, police have released details of a weapons find in West Belfast on Wednesday.
A machine gun, two replica machine guns and a number of other items where recovered during what police described as a "planned house search" in the Highfield estate area on Wednesday morning.
One man has been arrested and is helping Police with their enquiries.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.

Men Sentenced For Ballymena Drug And Money Laundering Operation
Three men were sentenced for offences linked to a drugs and money laundering operation in the Ballymena area yesterday, 31 January. At Antrim Crown Court, Troy Carley (27), Neil Lowry (30) and Marc Mitchell (32) were sentenced for a number of offences.

Man receives gun shot wounds in Derry attack
A man and woman who were badly injured following an assault in Londonderry had been abducted hours before in County Westmeath. The 42-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were found at High Park in Creggan at around 5:00am. They had been taken from their home in Mullingar between 8:00pm and 9:00pm on Monday evening and driven more than 120 miles.
