Police appeal over missing teenager

Police have expressed concern at the disappearance of a teenage Co Down girl who has not been seen since last week.

Lyndsey McDade, 15, who is from Bangor, was last seen at William Street in Newtownards at around 10am on Thursday morning.

She is described as 5’ 4” tall, of medium build, with dark brown shoulder length hair that may be tied up in a ponytail. When last seen she was wearing a black top and white tracksuit bottoms and was carrying a pink handbag.

It’s believed she may be in the company of an older man in his 20’s from Scotland and both are thought to be travelling to Dundee.

Anyone who has seen Lyndsey or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact detectives at Newtownards on 028 9065 0222 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
