Police appeal over missing teenager

Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following the disappearance of teenager in the area.

16-year-old Leonie Gillen went missing from her home in Drumbeg in Craigavon in the early hours of Thursday morning, and has not been seen since.

She is described as around 5' 8" in height, slim to medium build, with dark eyes and long hair.

She is thought to be wearing blue jeans, a white coloured top and carrying black shoulder bag.

Leonie's parents and police are becoming increasingly worried about her welfare and have appealed to Leonie to come home.

They have also asked for anyone who may know of her whereabouts to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
