IFA appeal for information after break-in

The Irish Football Association has appealed for information following a break-in at the IFA's shop at Windsor Avenue last week.

It is understood that thieves broke into the premises either late on Wednesday night or in the early hours of Thursday morning and stole a quantity of Northern Ireland away and home kits along with a number of training kits.

Supporters should remember that the range of goods is only available from the IFA, JJB stores and a number of independent retailers.

The purpose of the IFA shop at Windsor Avenue is to provide funds to be reinvested in the various football initiatives which are run by the Irish FA across Northern Ireland, including the grassroots scheme which helps develop footballers of the future.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Windsor Avenue area on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, or who has been offered Northern Ireland kits from an unusual source or at a knockdown price, is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave Street on 0845 600 8000.

Alternatively any information about the crime can be given anonymously by telephoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
