Advertising campaign launched to help find Lisa
The family of missing Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian have launched an on screen advertisement to appeal for information about her murder.
The 30-second advertisement will be launched at the Moviehouse Cinema in Belfast today and will feature a montage of photos of Lisa, from childhood until just before her disappearance, with a voice-over, by Lisa's sister Joanne Dorrian who appeals for any help to end the family's torment.
In a campaign that will run for one month, the advertisement will be the last to be shown before the film in an attempt to get the best audience ratings.
The 25-year-old was last seen on February 28 2005, after attending a party at a caravan site in Ballyhalbert in County Down.
Despite extensive land and sea searches, Lisa's body has never been found.
A number of people have been arrested over her death, however no one has ever been charged. Loyalist paramilitaries are believed to have been involved.
The Dorrian family previously set up a website in the hope that information relating to the disappearance would be left.
Posters have also been put up throughout the Bangor and Belfast areas, and last week rock band Snow Patrol wore a "blue ribbon of hope" for Lisa during the Vital rock music event in Belfast.
