Family held during armed robbery
A County Tyrone family have been left shocked following an armed robbery at their home last night.
The incident happened at around 11pm, when three masked and armed men attacked the owner of the property as he returned to his home in Sion Mills.
The attackers escorted the man to the house, where his wife and two daughters were waiting inside.
Two of the robbers took the man into the kitchen of his home where they threatened him then proceeded to hit him over the head with a gun, while a third man held the victim's wife and children in the living room.
The assailants then made off with an undisclosed sum of cash, two walkie-talkies and two mobile phones.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the attack or have any information on those responsible for carrying it out, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Recovered Body Named As Missing L'Derry Man
A body recovered from the River Foyle has been identified as that of missing L'Derry man Andrew Quigley. Mr Quigley (20), from Galliagh estate in the city, was reported missing on January 18, when he did not return home from a night out. A mobile phone and wallet belonging to Mr Quigley were found on the Foyle Bridge.

Armed Men Ransack South Belfast Home
Three men, two armed with a crowbar and a screwdriver, have ransacked a house in south Belfast. A 26-year-old man was in the property in Melrose Street at around 11am on Saturday at the time. The intruders ordered the resident to place a pillow over his face and they ransacked the property. The men left with a laptop.

Bushmills man attacked by gang in home
Detectives in Co Antrim are appealing for information after a 56-year-old man was attacked at his home in Bushmills last night. Three masked people entered the house in Burnbrae at around 10pm and hit him with bats as he watched television with his wife.
