Computer equipment seized by police
Police have seized computer equipment during planned searches in west Belfast last night.
A number of computer disks were also confiscated by police during a search of six houses in Lenadoon and Andersonstown.
Sinn Fein has condemned the police operation, with one councillor saying that last night's events placed a further strain on those working to find a resolution to the political impasse.

Drugs, Firearm And Luxury Goods Seized In Bangor
The PSNI have deployed an armoured tactical vehicle, known as a BearCat, during a proactive search operation in Bangor. Officers from Bangor District Support Team, assisted by officers from specialist Operations Branch providing specialist access, conducted a search at a property in the Killaire Road area of the town on Wednesday, 13th March.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A police officer assaulted a man at a bar while off-duty and unlawfully accessed information on police computer systems, according to a Police Ombudsman investigation. The officer was given an adult caution after he was found to have punched a man in the face during an argument at a bar in Belfast city centre in August 2014.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.
