David Cameron to meet with McCartney sisters

Conservative party leader David Cameron is to meet with the sisters of murder victim Robert McCartney during his second visit to the province this year.

It is understood that Mr Cameron will visit the family at their home in Belfast as part of a number of engagements he will attend throughout the day.

The family are expected to inform the Conservative leader about their plight to have those responsible for Robert's murder brought to justice, in a bid to gain his support in their campaign.

Robert McCartney, 33, was fatally stabbed outside Magennis's bar in Belfast City Centre in January 2005.

Mr Cameron will also visit the Garnerville Police Training College in Belfast, before meeting with representative from the PSNI, including Chief Constable Hugh Orde.

He will also address the Northern Ireland Institute of Directors` annual lunch in the city.
