Man sought over suspicious activity

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information after they received reports of a man in a red car acting suspiciously near two boys in their teens on Monday evening.

The incident happened at around 4.45pm in the Pantridge Road area of Poleglass in west Belfast.

The man is described as being aged in his 40s, of medium build, and was wearing dark coloured trousers and a blue and white checked shirt.

Detectives have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Critical After Being Found In Layby
A man remains in critical condition in hospital after he was found injured in a layby in Co L'Derry. Police are appealing for information to establish how the individual, aged in his forties, ended up in the vicinity of the Foreglen Road, Claudy on Monday 03 February. Police in north Belfast have appealed for information following an attack on a man yesterday evening. The incident happened at around 9.30pm, when a 27-year-old man was attacked by a gang of up to five males close to the junction of Duncairn Avenue and the Antrim Road.
