Man arrested after city centre rape
Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following a serious sexual assault in city centre bar at the weekend.
The incident was reported to police at around 7pm on Saturday evening, however details of the rape have just been released.
One man has been arrested in connection with the attack and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Anyone with any information in relation to the assault is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Burglar Commits Sexual Assault Against Child
The PSNI Rape Crime Unit is investigating a report of a sexual assault against a child in the Cliftonville area of north Belfast on Wednesday night. The assault took place in the child's bedroom, in a property close to the home of a 62-year-old woman who was raped after an intruder came to her door on May 16.
