Robbers bind and gag woman and daughter

A Chinese woman and her eight-year-old daughter have been left shaken after a robbery in Co Londonderry over the weekend.

At around 7.45pm on Saturday night, four Chinese men burst into the woman's Glenshane Road home and bound and gagged the pair. The woman was then assaulted and forced to reveal the combination of a safe in the house.

The gang then made off with a substantial amount of money.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
