Police vehicles damaged in petrol bomb attack
A number of police vehicles have been damaged in a petrol bomb attack in Londonderry last night.
Police were called to the scene, after a disturbance was reported in the Society Street and Fahan Street area at around 7.30pm last night.
A number of youths were seen throwing petrol bombs and stones close to Memorial Hall. However, no one was injured and there were no reported arrests.
Detectives issued a statement saying they liaised with a number of community representatives and the area returned to normal at around 11.30pm.

Man Arrested After Using Van To Attack Police Officers
The PSNI has condemned an incident in which a man used a van to repeatedly ram a police patrol car and attempted to run over an officer in Newry on Saturday, 03 February. Shortly after 11:20pm, officers on patrol approached a man standing beside a white Peugeot van in the Castlekeele Estate area.

Petrol Bomb Attacks Target Fountain - Again
A fourth petrol bomb attack on a Londonderry interface has further heightened tensions in the area. The mainly Protestant Fountain estate in central Derry has seen several attacks which have this week led to warnings from both nationalist and unionist politicians that someone could be killed in a confrontation.

Houses damaged in separate petrol bomb attacks
Two houses have been attacked in separate petrol bomb attacks in Belfast and Downpatrick. In north Belfast, a device was thrown through a glass pane in the front door of a house on the Crumlin Road at around 11pm last night. In Downpatrick, a house in the Mount Crescent area suffered scorch damage in the early hours of Friday morning.
