Elderly woman robbed at her home

Three men have robbed an elderly woman at her home in Camlough, just outside Newry.

The robbery took place at a house on Quarter Road on Monday July 16th just before 7.15pm when the men approached the back door of the house asking for a glass of water.

As one stood at the back door asking for the water another talked to the woman from a window. It was only when the three men had left the house that she noticed that her bag containing cash was missing.

Two of the men are described to be in their early 20’s wearing navy shirts and navy trousers and clean shaven, while the other man is described to be in his late 50’s with white hair and wearing a cap.

The men are thought to have taken off in the direction of the village.
