Fireworks Seized
A huge quantity of fireworks has been confiscated and two men arrested in County Fermanagh.
The tonne of fireworks, thought to be worth about £10,000, was discovered in the back of a van in Letterbreen.
The fireworks are themselves legal, but the police believe the people who had them did not have a licence to either buy or sell them on.
Chief Inspector Alywin Barton said people must possess the proper licence to buy and sell fireworks.
"These are the fireworks that are used in housing estates to disrupt the quality of life for residents," Chief Inspector Barton said.
Police are urging people who want to have their own display to obtain the proper licence which costs £30 and to buy legal fireworks.

The Department of Justice has reminded the public that anyone wishing to use fireworks requires a fireworks licence. Police attacked during drugs search
Police have come under attack in Londonderry as they carried out a drugs search at a house in the Brandywell area. Officers were attacked with petrol bombs, fireworks, stones and bottles and two of the officer’s sustained minor injuries.
