Missing Woman: Search Called Off
Amid worsening weather conditions - as a major storm advanced on the UK and Ireland - search teams have called off a hunt at Belfast Lough for a missing 41-year-old woman.
In an extensive operation, involving a rescue helicopter from Dublin, the search began soon after the alarm was raised about 2am on Saturday.
It was concentrated mainly on the north foreshore area around Hazelbank Park in Newtownabbey.
A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said that no further searches would be carried out.
The PSNI had been at the scene, along with coastguard teams and the Bangor lifeboat.

Cigarettes, Tobacco And Cash Seized
Police and customs officers have seized more than 13,000 cigarettes and five kilos of hand-rolling tobacco. The seizures were made during the course of a major search operation of 11 properties in north and west Belfast. Officers also seized £6,000 in cash under the proceeds of the crime act.

Man Arrested In Connection With Newry Shooting
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at an industrial estate in Newry. The incident happened at Carnbane Industrial Estate, off Tandragee Road, on Tuesday morning. The suspect was arrested following search operations in Newry on Thursday. He is being held on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Appeal Issued For Volunteers For New Search For Dean Mcilwaine
An appeal has been made for volunteers to search Cave Hill in Belfast for missing Newtownabbey man, Dean Mcilwaine. Mr Mcilwaine has been missing since Thursday 13 July. A previous search was carried out in Belfast city centre, but a new search operation is planned for the Belfast country park on Saturday 22 July.
