Two die after car collides with bus

Police have appealed for witnesses, following a traffic accident, which claimed the lives of two men.

The men were killed when their car, a white Rover, collided with a Citybus, close to Andersonstown police station on the Falls Road, shortly before 11:30pm last night.

A third man in the car, which was travelling country-bound at the time, and the bus driver were both treated for injuries in hospital, but have since been released.

The men killed in the crash have been named as 33-year-old Paul Sullivan from Glenwood Gardens, Poleglass and 18-year-old Patrick Adams, from New Barnsley Parade.

The accident comes just one week after two young men were killed in a three-car collision on the Saintfield Road on the outskirts of South Belfast.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact Woodburn police station on: 028 9065 0222.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.

Two men killed in road traffic accident
UPDATE: The two men killed in a road traffic accident in County Fermanagh have been named. Both men whi died in the crash were from Enniskillen, they were named as 35-year-old Eugene Moore of The Brook Enniskillen and 23-year-old Fergus Nolan of Cleenish Park Enniskillen. Police said that fatal accident occurred at 11.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Brian McIlhagga. A gang of masked men dragged the 42-year-old victim from a house in the Riverview Park area in Ballymoney on 05 January 2015. He was beaten and shot in a paramilitary-style attack.

Two men killed in road crash
The two men who were killed in this morning's road crash in Mallusk have been named by police as Gary Black, 22, and David Anderson, 18. Both were from Alliance Avenue in north Belfast.
